Dr. Yara Salama is a New York State Licensed Physical Therapist with clinical experience in outpatient orthopedic, pelvic floor, balance, and vestibular rehabilitation. She has been practicing in the U.S. since 2025 and previously provided one-on-one orthopedic care in Egypt beginning in 2022.
Her clinical expertise includes treating musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions, pelvic floor concerns such as urinary incontinence, pelvic pain, postpartum dysfunction, and vaginismus, as well as balance and vestibular conditions including BPPV, dizziness, gait instability, and fall prevention.
Dr. Salama combines individualized therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, functional movement training, and patient education to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall function. She holds a Bachelor of Physical Therapy with Honors from Badr University in Cairo and has completed FYZICAL Level 1 training in Balance & Vestibular Rehabilitation, with additional Level 1 training in Women’s Health & Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation currently in progress.
